About the role: As a Technical Talent Sourcer at Snapsheet, you are a strategic talent hunter, adept at uncovering and engaging top-tier technical professionals. This is a 6-month contract position based on performance and business needs.

You'll play a critical role in how our company identifies, attracts, and engages passive candidates, particularly within the competitive software engineering space. Your meticulous research skills, proactive outreach, and ability to articulate Snapsheet’s value proposition will be key to your success. You're a team player, ready to collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers, taking initiative to implement improvements and contribute to strategic talent acquisition initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Proactively identify and engage highly skilled technical talent, with a primary focus on software engineers, using a variety of sourcing techniques and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, boolean search strings, and professional networks.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to build diverse and robust talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct initial outreach, qualification, and phone screening calls with passive candidates to assess their technical skills, motivations, and alignment with Snapsheet’s culture and values.
  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers across various platforms (e.g., phone, video calls).
  • Partner closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand specific technical requirements, team dynamics, and market conditions for various roles.
  • Map target companies and talent pools to strategically identify candidates who align with our technical needs and growth plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate activity and market intelligence within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in technical sourcing to continuously refine strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and sourcing efficiency.

What You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a technical sourcer specifically in the software engineering space.
  • Proven expertise in various sourcing methodologies, including advanced Boolean search, X-ray searching, and using niche platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical roles and engage passive candidates effectively.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities to identify target companies, talent pools, and market trends.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM tools is a plus.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other professional networking platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • A self-starting, resourceful, and proactive work ethic.
  • A passion for technical recruiting and a desire to learn and grow within the talent acquisition field.
