About the Role: As we expand, we are seeking a talented Director of Pre-sales to lead our pre-sales team in supporting sales efforts with deep technical and strategic expertise. This role will drive the pre-sales function to ensure that we present clear, impactful solutions to potential customers, enabling faster, more informed buying decisions. You will also manage and mentor a global pre-sales team, ensuring they provide strong technical and strategic support for sales opportunities while aligning with overall company goals.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Solution Sales for Cloud-Based SaaS Platform: Lead solution sales initiatives by leveraging in-depth knowledge of cloud-based SaaS offerings to meet client needs and achieve revenue growth.
- Strategize for Software Business Growth: Create and execute strategies to drive business growth, utilizing data insights, industry trends, and cross-functional collaboration to meet growth targets.
- Drive Customer Value Realization: Ensure customer value by identifying and delivering key benefits, fostering continuous engagement, implementing feedback loops, and optimizing solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership: Work closely with sales leaders to define pre-sales objectives and support overall sales targets.
- Oversee Product Demonstrations and Proof of Concept (PoC): Guide the preparation and delivery of impactful product demonstrations and PoCs, personally leading presentations for high-profile prospects as needed.
- Lead RFP Responses and Proposal Development: Oversee the RFP response process, ensuring that proposals address customer requirements in a comprehensive and compelling manner.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assess potential risks in the sales pipeline from a technical perspective and work with the sales and product teams to address potential challenges proactively.
- Metrics and Reporting for Executive Leadership: Regularly present pre-sales performance, key metrics, and strategic insights to the executive leadership team, providing visibility into the department’s contributions to company goals.
Qualifications
- 7-8 years of experience in pre-sales or a related field
- Experience in the insurance industry is required, with a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges, processes, and technologies.
- Proficiency in managing the full pre-sales lifecycle, including product demonstrations, Proof of Concept (PoC) execution, and responding to RFPs.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful presentations to C-suite executives, stakeholders, and high-profile clients.Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
