Client Strategy Associate

Snapsheet is revolutionizing the insurance industry by building software solutions that make our clients’ lives easier. We are looking for a Client Strategy Associate to utilize their insurance industry knowledge to help Snapsheet build and deliver solutions for our clients.

As the Client Strategy Associate you are the right-hand to our President and other executives. You are a project-driver, building plans off of ideas and executing on the projects that are most critical to our business. As an insurance industry expert, you keep your finger on the pulse of the market, competitors, and the potential for new technology. Additionally, you will be a key resource as we prepare for client meetings - completing research, building recommended client strategies, creating persuasive pitch decks, and more. Other projects you could take on include: working with the product team to define go-to-market strategy, partnering  with our PR team to create thought-leadership pieces, or completing a competitive analysis. As the Client Strategy Associate you work closely with all teams at Snapsheet, particularly our executives, to ensure that we are moving the right projects forward to propel our business.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills to create clear process documentation, design and deliver presentations on behalf of the company, and smoothly  partner with clients and our executive team. Problem solving skills will be critical to uncovering roadblocks while your instinct to act will ensure you execute solutions quickly and effectively. Key Responsibilities of the Client Strategy Associate: 

  • Work closely with the Executive Team and other leaders to support and maintain our long term business strategies.
  • Collaborate across functions (sales, finance, etc.) to coordinate or support additional operational needs.
  • Successfully execute projects that are most critical to our business.

Additional Responsibilities of the Client Strategy Associate: 

  • Own end-to-end work streams, from strategic assessment through proposal creation, internal approval, negotiation, execution, and ongoing management.
  • Conduct market research to determine emerging trends, market needs, and customer requirements.
  • Work with executive team and sales/account management to prepare and present solutions to prospective clients: from market/customer specific perspectives to preparing demos to assisting with proposals and requirements analysis.
  • Understand our customers' operational needs and prepare solution materials through detailed consultative approach.
  • Conduct market research to determine emerging trends, market needs, and customer requirements.
  • Analyze competitor products and activities and provide feedback into marketing strategies and product development.
  • Conduct research and coordinate with other teams and external vendors to gather key inputs to strategic planning process: facts, assumptions, customer feedback, competitive and market dynamics.
  • Prepare market analysis and business cases to help articulate Product and Go-to-Market execution activities, organizational requirements, channel/partnership strategies, and financial/commercial implications related to specific growth initiatives.
  • Work with our PR and Marketing teams to support demand generation and thought leadership campaigns, and public relations initiatives with compelling marketing content and presentations.
  • Work with leadership to provide meeting and communication support for internal teams, clients and partners.

Qualification & Experience:

  • BA/BS required, MBA a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in insurance strategy and/or consulting
